Welcome to Lisa Cole Designs. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and your purchase and use of digital products, website templates, design services, consultations, support services, and other products or services offered by Lisa Cole Designs (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing this website, purchasing a product or service, or using any Lisa Cole Designs template or digital product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or purchase our products or services.

1. Digital Products & Website Templates

Lisa Cole Designs offers digital products, including Squarespace website templates, guides, resources, and related materials.

All digital products are delivered electronically. No physical product will be shipped unless expressly stated in the product description.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate Squarespace account, subscription, software, internet access, and other third-party services necessary to use your purchased template or digital product.

Squarespace subscription fees, domain registration, premium fonts, stock photography, third-party applications, integrations, and other third-party expenses are not included with your purchase unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Template License

When you purchase a Lisa Cole Designs website template, you are purchasing a limited license to use the template—not ownership of the template design or its underlying intellectual property.

Unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase, each template purchase provides a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for use on one website for one business, individual, or brand.

You may customize the template for your own permitted website, including changing colors, fonts, images, copy, and other design elements.

You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, reproduce, copy, give away, or otherwise make the template or any substantial portion of it available to another person or business.

You may not claim the original template design as your own, package it as another template, or use it to create a competing template or digital product for resale.

Additional websites or businesses require an additional template license unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

3. Intellectual Property

All original website designs, templates, layouts, graphics, written materials, educational resources, guides, branding elements, and other original content created by Lisa Cole Designs are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright or ownership rights to you.

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by Lisa Cole Designs.

4. Demo Images, Photography & Third-Party Media

Images, photography, graphics, video, and other visual content displayed on our template demo websites may be used for demonstration and presentation purposes only.

Some media appearing in a live template demo may be copyrighted, licensed, or otherwise restricted and may not be included with your template purchase. Where applicable, these images may be replaced with placeholder images or other appropriately licensed media in the template delivered to you.

The imagery contained in your purchased template may therefore differ from imagery displayed on the live demo website.

Demo imagery is intended to demonstrate the template’s layout, styling, and overall aesthetic and should not be considered part of the purchased product unless expressly stated in the applicable product description.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a Lisa Cole Designs template does not grant you a license or any other rights to use, reproduce, download, distribute, or publish third-party images or media displayed on our demo websites.

You are responsible for replacing placeholder images with your own photographs, graphics, or properly licensed media before publishing your website.

5. Fonts & Third-Party Assets

Templates may utilize fonts, plugins, integrations, stock imagery, or other assets supplied by third parties.

Availability, licensing terms, pricing, and functionality of third-party products may change without notice and are outside the control of Lisa Cole Designs.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licenses required for third-party fonts, photographs, graphics, software, or other assets you choose to use on your website.

6. Template Re-Style Services

Template Re-Style services are intended to customize the appearance of an eligible Lisa Cole Designs template using the client’s existing branding, content, photography, and other supplied materials.

A Template Re-Style is not a fully custom website design. Unless specifically included in your selected package, the underlying structure and general layout of the purchased template will remain substantially intact.

Requests outside the agreed scope—including significant layout changes, additional pages, custom functionality, custom coding, branding, copywriting, or extensive design changes—may require an additional fee.

Any additional work will be discussed before it is performed.

7. Project Timelines & Client Responsibilities

Any stated project timeline begins after Lisa Cole Designs has received all required materials, including completed questionnaires, copy, images, branding assets, account access, and other information necessary to begin the project.

For services advertised with a 5-business-day design timeline, clients are expected to respond to requests for information, feedback, or approval within 2 business days.

Client delays may pause the project timeline and affect the originally anticipated completion date.

If we do not receive required communication or materials five business days ahead of the scheduled project, the project may be placed on hold and rescheduled according to current availability.

Clients are responsible for reviewing all website content, spelling, links, contact information, pricing, policies, and other information for accuracy before publication.

8. Client Content & Permissions

By providing text, photography, logos, graphics, fonts, videos, trademarks, or other materials to Lisa Cole Designs, you represent that you own those materials or have obtained all necessary rights and licenses to use them.

You are responsible for ensuring that materials you provide do not infringe another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Lisa Cole Designs is not responsible for copyright or licensing violations arising from materials supplied or requested by a client.

9. Template Support

Template support is limited to the scope described on the applicable product or support page.

Support may include reasonable assistance with template setup, functionality, troubleshooting, and questions relating to the original Lisa Cole Designs template.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, template support does not include custom design work, custom coding, extensive website modifications, third-party troubleshooting, branding, copywriting, SEO services, or work performed on your behalf.

Any complimentary support period begins on the date specified in the applicable product description or purchase terms. Support requested after that period may require the purchase of an additional support service.

10. Consultations & Power Hours

Consultations, Power Hours, and similar services provide professional guidance based on the information available at the time of the session.

Clients are responsible for implementing recommendations unless implementation is specifically included in the purchased service.

Purchasing consultation time does not guarantee any particular business, financial, search-engine, marketing, sales, or website-performance result.

11. Payments

Payment is due according to the terms displayed at checkout or provided in your service agreement or invoice.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information.

Prices may change at any time; however, price changes will not affect purchases that have already been completed unless additional services are requested.

12. Digital Product Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our website templates and downloadable products and the immediate access provided after purchase, all digital product sales are final, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Please carefully review the product description, requirements, features, and compatibility information before purchasing.

We do not provide refunds because you change your mind, decide not to use the template, purchase the wrong product, lack the necessary Squarespace subscription or technical requirements, or no longer need the product.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

13. Service Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for design services, Template Re-Styles, Power Hours, consultations, or other scheduled services may be stated on the applicable service page, checkout page, proposal, or client agreement.

Where service-specific terms are provided, those terms form part of your agreement with Lisa Cole Designs.

14. Squarespace & Other Third-Party Platforms

Lisa Cole Designs is an independent business and is not responsible for the operation, availability, policies, pricing, updates, or functionality of third-party platforms and services.

Third-party platforms may change their features, interfaces, policies, functionality, or pricing at any time. Such changes may affect a template or website after purchase.

We cannot guarantee that a template will remain compatible with every future update or change made by a third-party platform.

15. No Guarantee of Results

We strive to provide high-quality designs, products, resources, and services; however, we cannot guarantee specific results from the use of a website template, website, consultation, design service, or other product.

We do not guarantee specific levels of website traffic, search-engine rankings, sales, leads, conversions, revenue, or business growth.

Your results depend on numerous factors outside our control.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lisa Cole Designs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—this website, our templates, digital products, or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular product or service will not exceed the amount you paid Lisa Cole Designs for that product or service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

17. Website Availability & Errors

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that all descriptions, prices, images, or other information will always be error-free.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update website content when necessary.

We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue products or services, subject to any obligations relating to purchases already completed.
